This issue serves as a catalyst for the exciting writing to come in the following issues, giving breath and space to the ideas and concepts mulling around in our brains, hearts and souls. From an interview with Paul Soupiset to a discussion of Till We Have Faces, and from new monasticism to deconstruction, the interests fun wide, yet the center remains that everything we "think" needs to apply to how we live. As the review of What Would Jesus Deconstruct? highlights, we need to begin to live our lives in the interpretation of the kingdom of God. http://issuu.com/everydayliturgy/docs/everyday_journal_feb_08/20 Tue, 09 Feb 2010 21:53:06 +0000 <table><tr valign="top"><td width="65"><a href="http://issuu.com/everydayliturgy/docs/everyday_journal_feb_08/20"><img src="http://image.issuu.com/080225171700-36d89391402a4b518309ac08cf102332/jpg/page_20_thumb_medium.jpg" width="55" border="0"/></a></td><td> &nbsp; </td><td><img src="http://content.issuu.com/icons/label_bookmark.png" border="0"/><br /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Everyday Journal: Notes on Theological Living. This month we meander through ancient practices, culture, poetry, theology, and memoir. One of the most exciting aspects of starting a new journal is that we have the opportunity to experiment with how what we publish meets our objective of providing an intersection between "liturgy, Christianity, theology, and culture." The highlight of this issue is our interview with Brian McLaren on his new book Finding Our Way Again: The Return of the Ancient Practices. This interview is a great example of the intersection between personal spirituality and the big questions of today's world we hope The Everyday Journal will continue to offer in the issues (and years) to come. http://issuu.com/everydayliturgy/docs/everyday_journal_may_08/22 Thu, 13 Nov 2008 16:37:14 +0000 <table><tr valign="top"><td width="65"><a href="http://issuu.com/everydayliturgy/docs/everyday_journal_may_08/22"><img src="http://image.issuu.com/080602184345-8a8d6bc2d6394d3f8f58336b34f06929/jpg/page_22_thumb_medium.jpg" width="55" border="0"/></a></td><td> &nbsp; </td><td><img src="http://content.issuu.com/icons/label_bookmark.png" border="0"/><br /><span style="font-size: 12px;">Welcome to the 2nd issue of The Everyday Journal.
